KUWAIT CITY, March 27, 2018 – National Technology Enterprises Company (NTEC) hosted threestudents from the Dasman Bilingual School (DBS) at their headquarters in KIPCO tower for a two-week work experience program during the month of March 2018.
This initiative is associated with one of NTEC?s CSR missions of giving back to the community through developing the knowledge base of the Kuwaiti youth. Students were assigned mentors within the company whom they shadowed to learn about their day-to-day duties and schedules, interpersonal skills within the workforce, teamwork skills and being a member of the company?s culture.
An appreciation ceremony was held on the students last day of work where all students were presented with an appreciation certificate from Group CEO Mr. Anas Meerza in the presence of heads of departments, mentors and the students supervisor.
During the ceremony Mr. Meerza highlighted the importance of such initiatives which complement students? academic preparation and provides them with first hand industry knowledge from the organization and its professionals.
